2-Way Valves

2-way valves have two states and can have either 2 ports (2/2 Way), 3 ports (3/2 Way), or 5 ports (5/2 way). 5/2 Way Solenoid valves are most commonly used to control double acting cylinders (to start, suspend, and return action). 2/2 way valves are most often used to start and stop pneumatic supply in the airline. Finally, 3/2-way valves have three ports and two states. They can control single acting cylinders, with the third port to allowing venting (i.e. exhausting of compressed air) of actuators.
