2-Way Valves

2-way valves have two states and can have either 2 ports (2/2 Way), 3 ports (3/2 Way), or 5 ports (5/2 way). 5/2 Way Solenoid valves are most commonly used to control double acting cylinders (to start, suspend, and return action). 2/2 way valves are most often used to start and stop pneumatic supply in the airline. Finally, 3/2-way valves have three ports and two states. They can control single acting cylinders, with the third port to allowing venting (i.e. exhausting of compressed air) of actuators. British Pneumatics stocks and supplies a range of 2-way valves.
