This pneumatic needle valve is a clean-room packaging elbow designed for controlling airflow and adjusting open or closed positions. It features a 6 mm push-in fitting on one end and an M5x0.8 male threaded port on the other, simplifying connection with tubing. The push-in fitting secures the tube effectively with stainless steel claws. With a maximum operating pressure of 9 bar (130.5 psi) and suitability for vacuum applications up to -1 bar (-14.5 psi), this valve is versatile for various applications. Its NBR seals allow operation within a temperature range of 0 to 60°C (32 to 140 °F), excluding freezing conditions. The rotatable needle enables precise adjustment of the flow rate by altering the orifice size, locking securely in place with a locknut for stability. Rotating the needle clockwise reduces the orifice size, while counterclockwise rotation increases it. It is crucial to begin adjustments from a fully closed state to prevent sudden actuator movement. Excessive torque should be avoided when adjusting the needle to maintain flow characteristics and avoid deformation of the resin valve seat.
