Pisco's meter-in pneumatic flow control valve regulates air flow in a single direction, leveraging a needle valve for adjustment and an orifice check valve for unidirectional metering. The meter-in configuration influences flow from the male threaded port to the push-in fitting. The valve features a rotatable 6 mm push-in fitting for tubing connection and an R 1/8 inch male threaded port. Operating pressures range from 0.5 to 5 bar, and NBR seals allow usage within temperatures ranging from 0 to 60°C. Adjustment is made via a rotatable needle that defines orifice size; a locknut secures the needle. Clockwise needle rotation reduces orifice size, while counterclockwise increases it. Flow rate adjustment should begin with the valve fully closed to prevent abrupt actuator movement. Excessive torque should be avoided during needle adjustment to maintain flow characteristics.
