This clean-room packaging elbow pneumatic needle valve is designed for air flow throttling and open/close control in the United Kingdom. It features a 5/16-inch push-in fitting on one end and an R 3/8-inch male threaded port on the other, providing easy tubing connection and secure locking. Suitable for a maximum operating pressure of 9 bar (130.5 psi) and vacuum applications at -1 bar (-14.5 psi), this valve is equipped with NBR seals for a wide temperature range from 0 to 60°C (32 to 140 °F). The rotatable needle allows precise adjustment of the orifice size, defining the flow rate, and can be locked in place with a locknut. Rotation clockwise decreases the orifice size while counterclockwise rotation increases it. To prevent sudden actuator movement, flow rate adjustments should begin from a fully closed state. Excessive torque should be avoided during needle adjustments to maintain optimal flow characteristics.
