This pneumatic flow control valve is designed to control air flow in one direction. It combines a needle valve for flow rate adjustment with an orifice check valve for unidirectional flow. The meter-out configuration directs the flow from the male threaded port to the push-in fitting, with a rotatable 1/4" push-in fitting on one side and a 1/4" male threaded port on the other. NBR seals allow for use in temperatures from 32 to 140 °F (0 to 60°C), while the operating pressure range is 7.25 to 72.5 psi (0.5 to 5 bar). A rotatable needle adjusts the orifice size, which determines the flow rate, and is secured with a locknut. Clockwise rotation reduces flow rate, while counterclockwise rotation increases it. Adjustment should begin from the fully closed position to prevent sudden actuator movement. Excessive torque should be avoided during flow rate adjustments to prevent changes in flow characteristics caused by deformation of the resin valve seat.
