Pisco JSS5-16-01B5/16" - R1/8" Meter-In Rotatable Flow Control Valve

This pneumatic flow control valve is designed for one-directional adjustment of airflow in a meter-in configuration, controlling the flow from the male threaded port to the push-in fitting port. The combination of a needle valve and orifice check valve allows precise flow rate adjustment while ensuring unidirectional flow. Its rotatable 5/16 inch push-in fitting provides easy tubing connection, securing it with stainless steel claws. The valve operates within a pressure range of 1 to 9 bar (14.5 to 130.5 psi) and a temperature range of 0 to 60°C (32 to 140 °F). The flow rate is adjustable using a rotatable needle that defines the orifice size, which can be secured with a locknut. Adjustment should begin from a fully closed state to prevent sudden actuator movement. It is crucial to avoid applying excessive torque when turning the needle, as it can affect the flow characteristics due to deformation of the resin valve seat.
